Cricut Card Fairy Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Valentines Day Cricut Card Fairy Blog Hop!
Friday Feb 3nd-Sunday Feb 5th.
A little history about us.....
The Cricut Card Fairies were created by our Commander, Crystal. She found inspiration from the already existent Cards for Soldiers. The Cricut Card Fairies accept requests for people & families who may need a pick me up for any sort of reasons.
We are a group of VOLUNTEERS who love our Cricuts, love making cards and love spreading cheer throughout. We've sent cards all over the U.S., Canada, Australia, and even Germany and other parts of Europe. We send all types of cards including birthday, good thoughts, sympathy, well wishes, get well soon and so many more. We've completed over 860 missions since 2008.
Those who may be interested in joining our wonderful group may send an email to cricutcardfairyarmy@gmail.com for more information.

This weekend we have  10 wonderful blogs for you to visit and maybe even win some blog candy!

BLOG CANDY!!
Shortly after Valentines day I start seeing signs of Spring. It is my favorite season. I can't wait. To celebrate the coming of Spring, I have a great Cricut Cartridge to give away. Its the Cricut Kate's ABC's Cartridge. There are so many different uses for this cart, but it just says Spring to me. :) This cart is brand new in sealed box.
I would love to have you as a follower, but the only need for entering is to leave a comment and be sure I have a way of contacting you.
You may leave a comment up until midnight Sunday. I will be choosing and announcing a winner on Monday at 3pm Pacific time.

For this Valentines Day I wanted to make a few fun things, so I made a coupon book from the Cricut Spring Fever Holiday Cart. This is so easy and was fun to make. I then saw a box I really liked and decided to tear it down then trace it out and make my own little treat box for my sweetie.

For the box I traced the original on the back side of the heart paper I was using.

Once cut out, I then edged it and colored the parts that would show inside.

I then decorated the outside and put it all together.

When open I have it filled with hugs n kisses for my sweetheart. They are glued down with a tiny glue dot on the bottom of each one.

The Coupon Book was cut at 3 1/2 in. The cut would normally have flowers but I put hearts that I used a punch for and placed these on top of where the open flower would have been. For the leaves and stem I just inked it the same green as I edged everything with.

The coupons have a perforated edge so you can tear them out easily. I haven't put anything on these yet, but you can put and decorate the coupons in many different fun ways.

And finally the Valentine's card. Love is all you need.

I made this all using an older paper collection (2008) called Bittersweet Collection Pack by BasicGrey. My New Year's Resolution for the last two years has been not to buy new paper unless I am out of certain holiday or solid color. I have been finding things I haven't seen in years wondering why I never used it before....lol.

Well I hope you have had fun stopping by and taking a look at my blog. I hope I have inspired you to follow and please don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win Kate's ABC's.

Your next hop is to my Card Fairy Sister, Gina.
She has a beautiful blog, enjoy!
